Administrator: The role of Administrator is that of great importance. The Administrator must be a respected, trusted and valued member of the community with a passion to lead, write and work in a friendly environment. The Administrator would be required to post actively on the blog with good content, and must have good knowledge of WordPress and it’s admin panel. Having good English writing skills and grammar/spelling is vital, just like with the other writing positions.

News Team: The News Team, formerly known as the Content Team is one of the most important teams on the website. The News Team publishes the news articles on the blog. A large amount of commitment is needed and this is not a job that you can just walk into without a desire. Journalism is never easy; it requires research, proofing, analysing and finalising. You should have very basic skills with photo editing (cropping/resizing) and be familiar with WordPress.

Review Team: The Review Team is a team stemmed from the old Content Team (now known as the News Team). Reviews are not everyone’s favourite thing to write, and not all reviewers like writing news. Due to this, the Review Team was born. The Review Team is exactly what it says on the tin; writing reviews! This can be of games, accessories, consoles – anything gaming! It is helpful to be a gamer who plays a wide range of games; the more reviews the better.

Design Team: The Design Team is the graphic design team. This team would be required to create wallpapers, signatures, banners and more when requested. This is not a day-in day-out role, more of a freelance job. If you create a new set of graphics for a giveaway/free download you will be given permissions to create a blog post announcing this.

Social Team: The Social Team are a group of individuals who will look after the social networking side of the site. While you wouldn’t have to post on the blog (unless it’s a social network-based update), you would be required to share engaging content on some of our social networks such as Facebook. You should share our articles as well as fun pictures and stories. If you can, it’s appreciated if you share milestones and important updates on our blog.

YouTube Team: The YouTube Team is a work in progress. I would like LevelUnlocked.net to cover more aspects of the gaming community rather than just news and reviews, and the YouTube gaming community is a very interesting one. People will a passion for gaming and a recording device will be wanted to create commentaries, montages and short funnies for our YouTube channel. These videos can cover gaming news or anything else you like; we want to engage viewers who may not enjoy reading news articles. We will also be ‘sponsoring’ channels and videos, simply adding our intro (coming soon) will secure this.

Promo Team: Promotion is key to a site’s success. We need a team of dedicated helpers who can spread the word of our site. This could mean having a forum signature, repinning our posts on Pinterest, tweeting about us, mouth to mouth advertising and any other ways you can think of advertising.
